Terms of Service

Last updated: October 19, 2026 • Effective for all ForMeds platform users & waitlist participants

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at https://formeds.in, our mobile applications, locum marketplaces, clinical assistant tools, and related services operated by ForMeds LLP (“ForMeds”, “we”, or “us”).

By accessing our platform or registering for early access, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the platform.

2. Eligibility & Professional Verification

ForMeds is an exclusive professional platform for verified healthcare practitioners and accredited healthcare institutions in India.

  • Individual Practitioners: You must hold valid, unencumbered registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC), State Medical Council, Indian Nursing Council, or equivalent regulatory council.
  • Institutional Users: Representatives must possess verified administrative authority to act on behalf of accredited hospitals, nursing homes, polyclinics, or diagnostic centers.
  • Account Integrity: You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date credentials. False representation of medical qualifications constitutes grounds for immediate termination and referral to regulatory authorities.

3. Locum Shifts & Institutional Marketplace

The ForMeds Locum Exchange facilitates direct connections between healthcare facilities seeking clinical duty coverage and verified practitioners.

Hospitals and practitioners contract directly for professional engagements. Payouts processed via platform-linked escrow arrangements adhere to agreed duty terms, verified attendance protocols, and applicable Indian taxation guidelines (including TDS deductions).

4. AED Clinical AI & Educational Disclaimer

Important Clinical Responsibility Notice:

The AED Clinical AI assistant provides literature-backed references, differential diagnostic suggestions, and educational resources derived from peer-reviewed evidence (e.g., PubMed, Indian Pharmacopoeia, standard treatment guidelines).

AED is NOT a substitute for professional clinical judgment. Treating clinicians retain sole medical and legal responsibility for patient diagnosis, prescription, procedures, and patient management. ForMeds assumes no liability for independent clinical decisions made by practitioners.

5. Intellectual Property & Platform Access

All platform software, interface designs, trade names, brand identifiers, and educational modules are the exclusive intellectual property of ForMeds LLP or its licensors.

Founding members who register on the pre-launch waitlist are granted lifetime free access to platform tier features as specified during the early access campaign, subject to standard compliance with these Terms.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
